It’s that time of year when we are all hunkered down inside, spring is just around the corner and thoughts turn to summer at Wabatongushi Lake! We thought, given the cold spell that just went through, it would be a good time to revive our mystery spot series! See if you can name the spot below and if you get it right, we’ll give you a shout out and a pat on the back for your keen knowledge of the lake! Leave you guesses in the comments below….
This week’s Mystery Spot:
Announcing Monthly Photo Contest!
We’re looking for good photos of the lake! If you have any from the last few years, fish, landscapes, people, wildlife, etc., forward them to us! Our first give away will be on March 1st, so send those photos in now! Send your contest photos every month for potential use on our site and social media to — email@example.com … Can’t wait to see the great photos of your upcoming and past trips to the lake.

The most incredible place I’ve ever been! 2012 and 2022. Can’t wait to get back in 2024😁. Thanks for all your hard work Andy and Amy!
Is that tree in the photo on the trail up to the dam? It’s been a long time since I was there. Our group was the Outdoor Life Magizing article Anglers on the Train.
Hi Brian, nope that is not the spot!!! The trail to the dam is beautiful for sure, maybe we’ll use some of that in the future! You guys are due for another trip soon, we have so much more to write about!!!
Loch Lomond trail end. Small mouth haven
I think the tree may be in Kathleen’s Bay
Nope, Not Twin Rocks!
If I entered more than one picture in February – do I have to reenter the pictures for March?
Will you still consider using pictures from a previous month going forward?
Thanks in advance.
