What do our vacation packages include?

No matter where you choose to stay, we include all of our basic dock services and amenities for FREE:

Cleaning, packaging, and freezing of fish for eating during the week, and for take-home
Ice machines at Loch Island Lodge and Camp Lochalsh
Use of boats and motors at the portage lakes
Use of kayaks and paddle boards, sauna, lounge areas, games
Starlink Internet accessible at Loch Island Lodge and Camp Lochalsh
Parking, pick-up, and drop-off from the Narrows landing, train flag stop, or Camp Lochalsh, with no weight limits on luggage

Our 18’ cedar strip boats are outfitted with 15 h.p. or 20 h.p outboard motors with electric start. We include unlimited gas, swivel seats, life jackets, safety kits, nets, stringers, and bait containers. Please reserve a trolling motor or fish finder ahead of time, or you are welcome to bring your own.

All Inclusive (American Plan)

Breakfast and dinner are served at Loch Island Lodge only, but you can boat over from other locations if desired. Our All Inclusive (American Plan) is unbeatable in both service and value. You literally don’t have to think about anything except where you’re going to fish and when to take that nap. All meals are provided for, including a full breakfast, Shore Lunch prepared by our guides or a boxed lunch (your choice), and a hearty dinner topped off with a delectable dessert. We provide all live bait (worms and minnows).

The first day you arrive, your guide will escort you to where the fish have been hitting and demonstrate the techniques that are working now — not last year. This service is invaluable for new guests who may not be familiar with the lake. All your catch, whether for take-home or for a snack at camp, is cleaned by our guides upon your arrival back at the lodge. This is truly a package worth considering for those who really need to unwind.

Modified Plan

Our Modified Plan offers a “middle-of-the-road” approach for those who do not want to do all of their own cooking.

Each day you have your choice of either:

Continental Breakfast served in the Loch Island Lodge dining room from 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Cereals, juices, danishes, and coffee are examples of the kinds of things available.
or, Shore Lunch, a popular option, it’s a campfire-cooked meal we prepare daily at a scenic spot right on the shore of the lake, midway up, so you are not too far from the fish. Relax and mingle with other guests, while feasting on fresh fish from the lake. We’ll prepare and cook your fresh catch and compliment it with pan-fried potatoes, brown sugar beans, vegetables, juice, and coffee.

Then join us again for a hearty dinner at Loch Island Lodge.

Housekeeping Plan

Available at Camp Lochalsh, Otter Island, Isle of Jordan or Sandy Bay, bring your own food and do your own cooking. Otter Island is 2.5 miles south of Loch Island and operates entirely on propane. Sandy Bay is only a mile north of Camp Lochalsh and also runs entirely on propane. Isle of Jordan is a deluxe Housekeeping cabin on a private island in Moose Bay. Hot & cold running water and three-piece baths are in all of our cabins, including those at Sandy Bay, Otter Island or Isle of Jordan. 24-hour electricity is at Camp Lochalsh and Isle of Jordan. One, two or three-bedroom cabins are available.

Fin & Feather Housekeeping Plan (Available After September 15 Only)

Join us at Camp Lochalsh for small game hunting and fishing. We include all of the benefits of our fishing packages, and you may book a cabin at either Camp Lochalsh or our outposts. Guests who purchase this package must buy a small game licence. If you would like to purchase meals, contact us for further planning!

– Rates do not include: transportation to and from lake (i.e., rail or air service), Harmonized Sales Tax / HST (13% ), or Ontario fishing license.

– Deposits of $200 per person are required to hold all reservations.
– Deposits are non-refundable. Maximum amount of deposit applied to one person is $200. Final payment is not due until departure from camp.
