The Isle of Jordan is a timeless log home located centrally on Wabatongushi Lake. Constructed and maintained as a private family retreat many years ago, the three-bedroom cabin is now our most popular and unique outpost.

Location
The cabin overlooks Moose Bay and North Bay. Its proximity to Moose Bay, Tie Bay, Eagle Bay, and favourite early season fishing spots on the northern end of Wabatongushi Lake makes it a convenient choice in May and June. Later in the summer, it’s a short ride south to the hotspots at Poacher’s Bay, Y Point, Ann Point, and Twin Rocks. The logging road landing and parking lot at the Narrows of Wabatongushi Lake is just across the bay from the Isle of Jordan dock, making transporting your luggage back and forth easy.
Amenities
The spacious log cabin features 24/7 electricity from a diesel generator which is located a distance from the cabin for noise reduction. Unlike our other outpost cabins, which do not have generators, the electrical system can power your medical devices or CPAP machines. Staff will refuel the generator and restock firewood throughout your stay. A drum of gasoline is kept on site for guests to fuel their own boats. On cold nights, gather around the stone fireplace or light a campfire. A new deck built around the sunroom of the cabin provides a scenic view of the lake for your morning coffee, or evening barbecue and cocktails. A fully-equipped kitchen, a three-piece bathroom with hot and cold running water (sink, toilet, shower stall), and a spacious living room and dining room with vintage charm make the Isle of Jordan feel just like home. The cabin is outfitted with one double bed and five twin beds, and housekeeping staff can make up additional cots for larger groups.
Loch Island Lodge is only a twenty minute boat ride south, and staff there will restock your group with drinking water, fuel, bait, and linens at your request. If you wish to book an American Plan or Modified Plan package, your meals will be served at Loch Island Lodge. As always, shore lunch is out on the lake every day.
There is no cell phone reception in the area, but guests who need to access Internet can travel to Loch Island Lodge to use our Starlink connection.
Availability
The Isle of Jordan can be reserved on a weekly basis beginning on our opening day in May, running into October. Due to the capacity of the cabin, we require a minimum of 4 guests in a group. Contact us today to make a booking!
